Age declaration cookie
EVA uses a strictly necessary first-party cookie (eva_age_declared) to remember that the visitor has declared that they are 18 or older. The cookie is stored for 30 days and is used only for the age-gate experience.
This cookie does not verify identity, age, date of birth, or identity documents. EVA does not collect a date of birth through this age gate. This is an age declaration for browsing UX — not identity-based age assurance or proof-of-age.
Age assurance session
When you choose “Verify with EU age assurance”, EVA may store a short-lived first-party HttpOnly session flag that records only that an anonymous age-threshold check succeeded (for example age_verified and threshold). EVA does not receive or store your date of birth, name, ID document, or biometric data through this flow. The declaration cookie and the assurance session are separate; one is never treated as the other.
